About
Since first opening in 1965 with 6 runs, a t-bar lift and rope tow, Welch Village has expanded to include 60 runs on 3 mountains which includes the Back Bowl which opened in 2009.  Our runs are also serviced by 9 chairlifts, one surface lift and a rope tow. We also have 178 snow guns. Of the runs Welch offers 30% beginner, 40% intermediate and 30% advanced, and two terrain parks.  There is a large ski and snowboard school, two rental shops and two chalets with full service food and beverage.  With 120 snow guns, man-made snow can cover the area during a snowless season.
