Located in the Loess Hills of western Iowa, Mt. Crescent Ski Area is just 15 miles northeast of Omaha, Nebraska. We provide Midwest skiers with a variety of slopes to both intrigue new skiers and challenge experienced ones. Runs reaching up to 2,000 feet offer a 300-foot vertical drop. Uphill capacity is 3,600 skiers per hour with our double and quad chairlifts. We're lighted for night skiing so come after work, school or dinner and have some fun! We offer discounted rates for night skiing. Equipped with the latest snowmaking system, our ski season runs from early December well into March. As long as we receive a few nights with temperatures below 20 degrees for maximum snowmaking, no natural snow is required! Our trails can all be covered with two to three feet of fine, well-packed snow!

A newly remodeled two-story day lodge complete with year round sundeck is home to the Mountain Cafe & Bar. Enjoy hearty, winter fare complemented by your favorite beverage or relax by the outside firepit and roast marshmallows until your next run! Ask about discounted group pricing and menu packages for corporate, schools, youth groups & retreats. Ask about lodge rentals for special events and holiday parties. We have unique catering options to suit any budget. Reserve a firepit & choose one of our fireside menu options.

We also offer a full service ski and snowboard rental shop stocking 1,000 sets of modern ski equipment, including skis, boots and bindings by many of the leading manufacturers. And for snowboarders, we have a full line of boards & boots to fit a wide variety of riders.

If lessons are needed, our ski and snowboard instructors offer group, semi-private and private lessons. And new this year, our "Station Rotation" method of teaching. Stations 1, 2 & 3 will teach you the 1, 2, 3 basics of skiing or snowboading. This lesson is only $5. for approx. 30 minutes of instruction, if you don't get it the first time, just jump back in at station 1 and try again!

And introducing our newest activity, Zibob Sledding. For thrill seekers of a different kind, this new sledding course will leave you feeling the rush for more; sled individually or challenge another!
